Superior Physical Therapy Now Open at FISC!

Specializing in Athletic & Sports Related Injuries

The area’s leader in physical therapy, Superior Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, has opened a fourth location, this one at the Frederick Indoor Sports Center (FISC).Superior, a sports and orthopedic rehabilitation center, offers physical therapy, fitness and wellness programs.

“Our job is not to just treat the pain you’re feeling, but to determine the cause of the pain. It is important to understand how your entire body movement contributes to or is affected by your pain. We identify specific solutions within the complex relationship of the body’s many moving parts. This is very different than traditional physical therapy services that tend to focus only on the site of pain through a more one-size-fits-all approach,” said Earl Cox, owner/director of Superior Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab.

“At Superior we dive deeper. We listen to you, work with your unique anatomy, and establish a program to bring lasting results. Our goal is to get you ‘back in the game’ faster and we empower you to learn movements that you can perform on your own,” Cox said.

The Superior team will be working closely with the coaches at Frederick Indoor Training (FIT), located within FISC, to provide the best quality of care for Frederick County athletes.

“The new center will offer multi-disciplinary and comprehensive activities for those who want to improve athlete performance, whether they are recovering from an orthopedic or sports related injury or seeking to take their fitness to the next level,” said Josh Pleasant, FIT coach.

Superior specialists are committed to providing the best physical therapy experience with the highest quality of care for optimal results.

“There’s no question that the specialists at Superior have an edge over the competition. With the many years of experience, numerous certifications and specialties, the therapists at Superior are at the forefront in his/her field. This means the FISC athletes and patrons now have access to the best in the business for sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, physical therapy, fitness and wellness programs,” said Tony “C” Checchia, FISC owner.
