FISC Owner Wins an Award - Rotary Club of Frederick

On 3/19/14, club member Tony Checchia was honored by The Rotary Club of Frederick as it deemed him a Rotary Fellow.

Rotary Fellow Honors are given to Rotarians who exemplify the ideals of Rotary, its traditions and help make their communities a better place.

During his 14-year membership, Mr. Checchia's Rotary involvement includes serving as club President, leading community fundraisers, keeping perfect attendance, and currently heading RCF's Memorial Park maintenance efforts.  Adjacent to Baker Park, Memorial is the only park in Maryland honoring solders from every American war.

Tony is co-owner of Frederick Land Company and owner of Frederick Indoor Sports Center.

Mr. Checchia's award reads, "For so generously serving the Rotary Club of Frederick, his many friends and family, and the greater Frederick Community. For setting the example to all members of the club and sharing his friendship, talents and good counsel."
