Grand Opening of newly renovated Indoor Sports Center

Frederick, MD March 19th 2010 – Join the new Frederick Indoor Sports Center (FISC) for their grand opening event with the Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 11 am on Saturday, March 27th. FISC will be joined by their onsite café, Venues Sports Café to provide tasty food and drinks to all who attend. In addition, March 27th will be the kickoff of a new youth 8V8 tackle football league. Come out to see the action on the newly installed FieldTurf indoor playing surface. Jay Jeffrey, Co-Owner of FISC said “We are excited to see how many additional opportunities FISC is able to provide by the having new FieldTurf surface”

Over the past ten months co-owners, Tony Checchia and Jay Jeffrey, have made many improvements to the facility including the installation of a FieldTurf surface and creation of a café/lounge with multiple flat screen TV’s and a 9’ projection screen to watch sporting events, which flank the playing field. FISC provides a family friendly atmosphere for all ages to play soccer, lacrosse, flag football, dodge ball and many other sports. Frederick Indoor Sports Center is located at 1845 Brookfield Ct. in Frederick, where it is always game on.

Frederick Indoor Sports Center partners with the NFL to start a new league

Frederick, MD March 19th, 2010 – NFL Youth Flag Football league will be starting at Frederick Indoor Sports Center (FISC) on April 18th, 2010. The league will be open for youth ages 5-8, 9-10 and 11-13 years old. The NFL will be partnering with FISC by providing team flags, NFL Footballs, and each player with their own reversible NFL team jersey. Games will be played on Sundays from April 18th through June 13th. “I am very excited that the NFL decided to partner with us to create a fun and enjoyable league for the Frederick youth” said Jay Jeffrey, Co-Owner of FISC.
