1. How do I join a team?

3. Show up, watch, and offer to guest play on teams that are short players. (click here for our schedule)
4. If you are looking to play soccer, we have pick up soccer each week - every Wednesday at 1:00. It is a great place to meet other players and make the right connection.


2. How many players do I need to start a team?

For soccer we require a minimum of 10 paid roster spots (you only need 7 to field a full side, but most teams consist of at least 12 players) For Flag Football, the minimum required roster is 12 paid spots, but most rosters average 14.


3. Can I play as a guest player?

  • Teams are permitted to add up to a maximum of TWO (2) Guest Players per match.
  • All Guest Players must check in at the Welcome Desk to ensure that they either have a current/valid/active FISC ID card or have completed a player profile (including getting their photo taken) and must obtain a GUEST PLAYER PASS prior to joining the team.
  • If a team is adding Guest Players to get to the maximum field allowance there is no charge. If a team already has enough “rostered” players to field the maximum field allowance and wish to add Guest Players to create subs (and have already not added any Guest Players), they may do so, but the proposed Guest Players pay a $5 per Guest Player fee each.
  • There are NO Guest Players permitted during playoffs.
  • Any team that violates the Guest Player Policy will automatically forfeit the match.

4. Do I need an ID card to play at FISC?

Yes. Anyone is welcome to come and watch, but all participants in programs held at the Frederick Indoor Sports Center must have an ID card and sign a general facility waiver. This includes league players, 368 PTC patrons, Evolve Academy students, and participants in all camps and clinics including Soldier Fit. The fee is $20/year for adults and $10/minors. 5. What are the benefits for having a FISC ID?

Your safety is the main reason we require FISC IDs for all participants, but there are other benefits as well. The FISC ID card can be used around town at an ever-growing list of preferred businesses to obtain discounts. Your FISC ID also entitles you to four (4) complimentary pick-up or guest player passes, which equals the face value of the card ($20). 


6. Do I have to pay a fee or need an ID Card or pay a fee to watch a match?

No. We have several viewing galleries from which you can enjoy match play.


7. Where can I watch the game?

There several viewing galleries. First is our lounge, adjacent to the Lube Center Field. The other two areas are upstairs overlooking either field. You can also click on Watch a Game to watch a match using one of our on-field web cams.


8. How do a rent a field?

Just call us tell us when you are interested in renting. Fields typically rent by the hour and the price ranges from $150-$195/hr. Call 240-215-4040 or email Tina.
